Welcome to my blog! I’ve been wanting to do this for a bit and have been lazy and just not done it. So…here we go. This is a space for my miscellaneous ramblings, rants, and whatever happens to be on my mind at any given time. Some days it will be written, some days just audio, some days video. Let’s take this journey together. Some days it’ll be funny, some days something to argue over, some days just observations and thoughts.
Like it or not: this is me. Love this hat, it was a birthday present from my wife. Letting you know that I’m more than just a voice in your head. I can’t stand the phrase Face For Radio, but let’s be honest here….
It is Thanksgiving Week. What is Dale Alexander thankful for? Honestly, a lot. I’m thankful for a job that lets me be me and gives me the opportunity to play some great music; the music I really enjoy. The Rock Channel had been in the planning stages for so long; lots of talk. I was concerned it would never come to fruition. Then, it did. I was thrilled. It is the channel I listen to in my truck and everyone around my truck listens to as well. This is music that screams to be played loud. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
I’m also thankful for my dogs. I have two: Olivia the corgi and Layla the pitty, and Sanniv the kitty. I really enjoy having them both around. They are both rescues in one way or another and just bring joy to the house.
Yeah, pretty thankful for my human family as well. They are all pretty awesome. A lot of the new music you experience on The Rock Channel comes from bands my daughters tell me about. They have impeccable taste. I mean, they chose me as their dad! Well, thanks also to my wife.
And honestly, I’m thankful for you, dear and twisted listener. You have made the dream of a real rock station come true. I’ve had the pleasure to meet so many of you when out and about. You’re good folks with awesome taste in music. Hats off to you for making this experiment a success.
Also really thankful we don’t play Christmas music full time or much at all. Bah Humbug….that’s also me. When you are a robust (chubby) dude with a beard….people want to put you in a Santa suit…
Beautiful Family! Keep us rocking! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now shut up and rock! Hahaha 😆
